Walking in Your Shoes: Gaining Empathy Through the Lens

As photographers, it's easy to overlook how a subject feels while being posed.

To bridge this gap, each year we make a point to step into the shoes of our clients, experiencing firsthand the emotions and challenges of being in front of the camera.

This practice allows us to better understand our subjects' perspectives, refine our techniques, and ultimately help them feel more at ease during their sessions.

By immersing ourselves in their experience, we aim to enhance our ability to create a comfortable and enjoyable environment for everyone we photograph.

Below are photos of our very own photographer, Isla, from Emotions and Math, captured by Eric, the other half of Emotions and Math.
